The Faerie Keeper Persona-2007

As The Faerie Keeper began with The Site Fights (TSF) on April 5, 1999 and the Faerie Mother placed me upon her lap and gently whispered in my ear, "There are many in TSF who will not remember nor know such an ancient faerie, so I shall give you a new life and likeness. You shall be both younger looking and have the wisdom of your age."

In yet another dream The Faerie Mother appeared and spoke these words to The Faerie Keeper. "Arise on the morrow, write of our ancient lore, our oral traditions, our mysteries and legends.  Place all you will remember according to a date in the calendar of the year, which shall give reason for celebration and remembrance and invite others to share what they too have found or remember."

Suitor by Richard Doyle Victorian IllustratorSo The Faerie Keeper developed, with the guidance of The Faerie Mother a Faerie Festival Calendar and invites everyone who has a fondness of the Faerie Clan to either make a contribution to be included in the calendar or merely reference our Faerie celebration during the year.  In so doing they may with permission of The Faerie Mother be known by a "sign or symbol" of compassion and love.

Reward shown above is by Richard Doyle, Victorian illustrator, one of his best known works was M. Lemon's In Fairy Land, 1868. It was because of this work he became the leading illustrator of "fairyland" figures.

This work was followed by Fairy Land: Pictures from the Elf World, 1869. The illustration shown above is An Elf-Fairy Romance: He finds her and this is the consequence. Doyle continued to creatively achieve and in 1871 he illustrated three books, The Enchanted Crow, Feast of the Dwarfs, Snow White and Rosy Red. Richard Doyle is featured in our Faerie Celebration Calendar, 1211.

Rebirth of The Faerie Keeper (A Country Tale Dream)
by The Faerie Keeper
210729

We have waited many season
since days of youth now gone,
grown in strength and reason
and now outrun the fawn.

In the morning your shadow cloud
rides the sunlight and the noon,
and we know you are proud
our spirits will unite soon.

Then the day you circled round
my spirit left my body hollow,
I knew from your shrieking sound
your skyward journey I would follow.

Now as we gaze wayward, weaving,
instinct to fly controls our being
our Country Tales clan is now believing
and in our soaring there is no deceiving.

My dream of youth happened on that day,
a bond with the mightiest of birds, taken,
and around camp fires we hear them say
the dream of dreamers is not forsaken.

Origin of The Faerie Keeper, by Denny Lancaster; 5 April, 1999

Once upon a midnight dreary,
There I sat all weak and weary,
Pondering daylight, which will propose;
All whose trauma to which I was leery,
Dare I think to it dispose?

When all at once a shadow did emerge
Upon whose image all my thoughts converge;
Swiftly my spirits did leap from its sleep
And now the shadow and spirit must converge,
Least to my horror daylight traumas would leap.

When on that faithful morn a URL did I see,
Which would unite my new spirit, shadow, and thee.

Shadow Walkers was a team in the fights,
Whose name I pondered for many a night.
Then one day, my new spirit said to me,
This may be a new adventure for thee!

Courage within me arose,
And an e-mail to Lady Archer did I compose;
Thus it was sent, but 'twas me to relent,
Another day said I, for this I must repent.

Months passed within my sight,
Tax season turned days into the darkest of nights'
Now onward to surfing adventures with all my might.

Out of the blue came the e-mail,
I wondered who are you?
A search of prior mail her name did appear,
And Lady Archer was shortly thereafter held dear.

Months have passed my Shadow and me,
Onto the site fights with shouting and glee;
Now we have a great "company", you see,
My new Shadows, thee, and me.

Born out of kindness, nourished by love,
A sign of the "dove?"
If then the site fights is surely inspired from above.

So into the future a Faerie leads you and me,
For of the fate of the Site Fights to see;
They're in Faerieland with shouting and glee,
Are all that love the "Fights" like you and me?

Then all at once did the Shadows emerge?
Into the midst of the Site Fighters did they converge?
Lagging spirits were dispelled with not a doubt,
A vision of Faerieland was lifted with a shout.

Harmony and unity are abundant within and without,
For those who would hear us;
Of the existence of Faerieland
There is no doubt!

So let us get on with the Site Fights,
No need for tribulation or despair;
Just remember who leads us to greater heights,
And turn to the Faerie Mother if your heart needs repair.

Cheers and shouts

Member Since April 5, 1999Each of us has a source of inspiration where our days may start with renewed confidence that we are God's children and that he cares for us, as we do for him. The Shouts section of TSF is a place where you will find no disparaging word - only cheerful thoughts to fill your day.

Spirit

Member Since April 5, 1999The Site Fight teams have various events during the year. Our participation shows support for the main purpose of The Site Fight, which is to develop friendships, lend each other support and have family centered fun.

We "older" participants gleefully conclude that team spirit and support is the primary reason for the existence of a "Spirit Faerie" but when team responsibilities have been met, 'tis "Katy , bar the barn door." All of us have so much interaction, support other teams, cheer each other and truly enjoy the fellowship of "The Fairy Ring."

Spirit comes in many "sizes and forms." In our Spirit Faerie travels into TSF shouts section to post our own cheers, we also find and nominate those for D'Loudest Cheer Award.

When we visit web sites to dust guest books or look to see if all the proper links are present we also find Spirit Pages which excel and nominate them for our Spirit Page Award. There is no "standard" for excellence and individual creativity is the order of the day.

Nominee's for The Spirit Award is sought in our travels among those who exhibit and practice the family centered ideals of TSF.
