During the course of participating in various The Site Fight (TSF) team activities such as Valentines Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Saint Patrick's and so forth, along with monthly contests and support activities an array of articles were published, most of which required research.
What we consider the best of these articles is shown below along with a brief description.
Anime: Kerberos, Shitajiki, Red Maneki Neko, Anime Cherry Blossom Festivals, Sapporo Snow Festival, may not be familiar to those who are not familiar with Anime, so included in this section are articles about those Anime characters and events mentioned above and concludes with a quiz.
Noah's Ark: One of the early TSF teams always had interesting monthly contests and events. In this section you will find the building of the ark and historical background.
Cherubs: The Cherub Champions are the oldest TSF team which merged with The Forest in August 2006. This section contains Cherub theology, archangels and library quality graphics.
Ballgame: This TSF team gave me an opportunity to write about my favorite baseball city-Mobile, Alabama and highlight the rich heritage our city has played in developing players for major leagues over the years.
Dragon All little boys thrill at the mere mention of dragons and when we grow older, blarney stones. A quiz is also included.
Forests: Domr'emy, The Druid Forest, The Black Forest (Schwarzwald), Lebanon's Cedar Forests, Epic of Gilgamesh, A Swamp Bog in The Forest, Wee Folk Forest, Caledonian Forest are contained in this section.
Freedom Fighters: This TSF team hosted TSF a midsummer's night ball is a gala event, in which many of our teams contributed to the occasion as detailed in this section which includes a dance card. The most memorable and widely supported event in the history of TSF.
Wee Ones: Those younger than 18 are permitted to participate with supervision in TSF. Many of whom are children of we who participate. Activities and a fun time are enjoyed by all of us.
Faerie Festival Calendar: In 1996 a Faerie theme was adopted which was intended to entice younger readers to not only read but develop a well formed web presence of their own.
Throughout the years I had a desire to not just use Faerie information to introduce major sections of the web site or as additional information which would aid in further reading, but to truly celebrate the young child in all of us. Then when doing a web site review for our Talking Hands Award a calendar was found, which offered a solution to presenting Faerie Factoids which coincided with a calendar date, where possible. Then all of us could have a reason on a particular day to join in games, food and other celebrations. Knowing very well that the culture of Faeries is world wide and we could learn from each other.
