DRealm of DSpirit's 9th Anniversary.

DRealm of DSpirit
by Spirit Wizard Keith
In DRealm of Spirit's here
There is a group that loves to cheer
For spreading spirit is our plan
High and low across the land
Support our neighbors, Fairie's, Wee's
Serve the fighter on bended knee
Capture games, awards for spirit
And shouting out for all to hear it
A Spirit's work is never done
But all in all, it's just plain fun
We do our job both day and night
All for the good of the Site Fights
So when you see a Spirit near
Just know we're here to spread some cheer
Flag us down as we fly through
We'll share fun times and spirit too

Hundred's of Years Ago
by Denny Lancaster
a/k/a The Faerie Keeper/Spirit Keeper
A hundred years or more asleep,
from us not even a chirp or peep,
and the children would ask why,
while parents only gave a sigh,
but The Faerie Mother did not weep.
Gardens planted and birds would sing,
flowers to the house they would bring,
while milk was served in a silver cup
as around the table family would sup,
but our children saw the Faerie ring.
Father gathered forest wood for a fire,
and the wood into whips would transpire;
While the mushroom's continued to grow,
and the fire fly's emitted an eerie glow,
but our children to bed would not retire.
Into the forest some children would go,
with child like wisdom seeds to sow;
While mother and father asleep in bed,
and nary a word at breakfast was said,
but soon all our children would know.
Such is the joy of Spirits 'tis said,
and in the forest floor is it read,
that after hundred's of years we live,
in the heart's of good souls who give
so at last our children can go to bed.
Footnote: D'Realm of D'Spirit held its ninth annual poetry contest in 2004. The poem of Spirit Wizard Keith and myself were selected to represent the collective joy and
fulfillment.
Both of us would certainly agree that it is rather nice to receive an award, but for we scarce male participants in TSF and in the Spirit Realm, the honor is especially nice and will hopefully
encourage others of our gender to participate too.
