Guardians Who Honor Our Effort

A Guardian at Last!
by The Faerie Keeper-980325

On dewy, misty nights at the bank,
when the full moon in splendor sank;
The sound of music, harp in hand,
spread like ivy across our land.

Melody to soothe pain, with her palm,
stroked the strings, its touch a balm;
Enchanted strings revived ancient lore.
our hearts and souls craving for more.

And soon that Spirit Faerie without a name,
with royal robes, her vibrant face the same;
Thrilled us with her song err not so loud,
humbled hearts and our heads held bowed.

The vision of Faerieland grew brighter more,
saw the "gardener" opening the keyless door;
Saw a pastoral setting, its beauty like a dawn,
into eternal bliss our soul is drawn.

Advocacy
by Denny Lancaster

We, like countless others who fear the name
but know in the end deaths name it came
not today to us, yet must it now befall
rather death is coming to one and all.

Yet some will leave narrow halls and walls
answer to HE to whom our soul doth call
and sound their advocacy in the square
lending light to those who are in despair.

To us they say dear brother now awake
and give more from life than you take
for how long can your actions delay
before your soul is taken away.

But you say what use of valor be made,
when heavens powers refuse their aid,
and shortly from our minds advocacy flew
while those in heaven our souls pursue.

Let us contemplate shining stars on high
and our ponderous ruin, which should not lie
and then be moved with this light, to see
a pathway which will set our souls free.

Thus some may end a quarrel with God and try,
contemplate HIS kingdom of our blue sky
and the tears the SON for us were borne
before the whirlwind gathers and we are torn.
