Grace Emily Lancaster
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Grace Emily Lancaster, born September 2, 2002. She weighed 5.5 pounds and a wee bit over 18 inches. Grace and her mother Tara had a very hard time. The placenta tore and Tara experienced massive bleeding with a C section which followed. Grace had a heart murmur and was in critical condition, so we have just been able to catch our breath after continuous prayers. Both are doing all right and the murmur has cleared up.

Arrival Blessed
A little wonder comes along
Entreating us to sing a jolly song
Brightening everyone around us now
Laughing and crying with wonder wow
Struggles over with tired rest
Resulting joy the very best
Happy faces round and round
Lifting hearts never touching ground
Spread the word far and wide
Gather round do not hide
Rejoice we say with all our might
Behold the child such a lovely sight
Blessings showering down to earth
Happy souls announce the birth
Of a child so dearly of love
Sent from hallowed heaven above
Comfort warmth deepening emotion
Soothing souls nourishing lotion
Beaming smiles seen miles around
Like a beacon defines astound
Many times of happiness due
Wonderful arrival setting cue
Family gathering closeness found
Standing firmly solid ground
Life journey starting just begun
Years will pass fast on run
