Fix It Yourself

Fixing things, whether broken or not is a life long chore when you own a home, have children, drive a car, ride a bike or sit in the backyard basking in the sun in you hammock or chair.

When we came across a fix-it project for the first time, we asked a friend who had a similar "opportunity" or bought a book which detailed the fix-it process.

Needless to say, we have more fix-it books than you can "shake a stick at."  Some that we use on a regular basis are shown below:

By displaying this symbol, we pledge to help all who seek our advise concerning how to restore furniture, fix items around the home, or remodel your home.  This help is offered free, because of the help which we have been given.

With the four books below, we can fix almost anything except "the money tree" and the "transporter."  While   we do not suggest trying to fix everything, experience suggests that the level of confidence increases with experience.  Start with simple projects and work up to the more complex opportunities.
