Web site awards owners are not becoming lost in the tides of change. Rather the hobbyist web site award owner, has become more relevant. Because each award program owner possesses unique gifts. The sum total of all gifts are available at a closed door. Knock, enter and receive a gift-freely.
Within the Award Program (AP) community there are several programs in place which lend themselves to "branding" or a focus point for accumulation of the vast resources, individualized definitions of what constitutes an exceptional web site, uniform standards for group memberships, the diversity of approaches and a many faceted approach which with certainty will give either a person new to web building or a seasoned professional pause for thinking outside of the box and a mass of critical thinking.
Everything written in and for Award
Community News (ACN) is spidered, indexed and made available within
usually a few hours. All positive information which highlights out
our commitment, honors our award winners, spells out the fact that
as a community we are international, is "branding" of the highest
order. If every member now present voluntarily committed to
assisting one more non participant in a year, our actions would
certainly speak louder than words. Patting yourself and whom you
added would be a grand touch of magic.
Aiko Timmer has provided everything you need to implement the ACN RSS Feed.
Dave Conway suggested, why not Twitter? So an account was established which would give notice of and to our Talking Hands Award honorees. The web site authors are to be invited. Others may freely comment if they wish. What a grand way to bring all of the honorees together in one place. Hopefully there will be a group synergistic. A feeling of community too. Among those who excell at teaching and learning on the world wide web.
A host of talented graphic artists have created a plethora of certificates at Certificate Street. Many of which we have tailored for our Talking Hands Award Honorees. Mailed some and others have been sent via email. Printing out award certificates has never been easier! Just download, fill out and print. All are free, contributions are accepted and a link is certainly good ethical behavior.
PR Newswire is just one of the press release outlets used by the staff of the Talking Hands Award. While the staff include a number of television, news print, magazine and Ezine specialists. We do not find any difficulty in submission and publication notifications of our Talking Hands Honorees. But the reasons why may surprise you. Despite anything else you read or hear, journalists are overworked and overwhelmed, there are limited pathways to reach newspapers with your press release. Yet even in these financially stressed times, teaching and learning resource press releases provide prime news sources.
All AS! members have the opportunity to showcase their award winners. Assembly is a casual meeting place for also sharing ideas. Forum participants must request registration by email to post at Assembly. Also, registered members must request being placed in the applicable user group for normal posting privileges. This is a 24/7 moderated forum which insures cordial communication among community members. Where treating others with dignity and respect is the norm. While encouraging an honest and open exchange of views points.
Nova Site publishes monthly and has been in continuous existence since 2001. Feature articles are valued resources for reader enjoyment and information. Even a casual reader of a Nova Site feature will discern a unique presentation. Which always includes a real person behind the web site being featured. In the words of an author, laced with the narrative antics of the Brothers Grinn. Or presented by a fur child of the author, who knows their master or mistress in a fond and loving way and shares with the readers, a very different perspective.
There are only two requirements to be a Nova Site feature. First, to have received an award by a past or present AS! member. Secondly, someone, that is anyone, must take the time to suggest the web site.
Because a Nova Site feature article, need not be an AS! member. Anyone may avail themselves and the readers. Of the publicity which is tracked by a significant number of news organizations. For past and present Nova Site articles.
