Form Mail One: Teaching and Learning Not Evident (Nominee and Nominator)
Thank you for the interest showed in our Talking Hands Award. When we have received two or more nominations from distinct individuals for the nominated web site, including this one from yourself, we then begin our phase one, which is to determine if teaching and learning was present to the extent that a visitor, having visited, would then return to their normal daily lives a better world citizen as the result of visiting your web site.
Now having received two or more nominations, regretfully we did not find teaching and learning to the extent that our Talking Hands Award honorees exhibit. Please do let us know if teaching and learning have been inadvertently overlooked.

Form Mail Two: One Nomination Has Been Received For A Website (Nominee and Nominator)
We have received a nomination for the Talking Hands Award for the web site shown above and in our preliminary determination have found teaching excellence. Now we await a second nomination (from a different individual than the first) in order to proceed with our review process and seek our judges unanimous decision.
Our singular purpose is to reward web site authors, who through their creative excellence provide a web site which teaches, contains teaching elements in sufficient detail, and otherwise leave a visitor with something of significant value after returning to their normal daily activities.
The Talking Hands Award which has been in existence since 1986 is rated by Award Sites. The criteria on which your web site will be evaluated upholds the ethical standards of our organizations in which we are members.
Initially a web site has received two or more nominations which consisted of a fifty word or less citation as to why the web site should receive the award; would then reviewed against our criteria and achieve a score of 23 or more; and finally would be reviewed by our international judges who were in agreement that the web site should receive the award.

Form Mail Three: Applicant Notification-Two or More Nominations and Teaching Excellence (Nominee)
We wish to inform you that two or more nominations for the Talking Hands website award have been received by persons who have expressed in fifty words or less why your website should be considered for the award.
We require your permission to provide a screen shot (or an alternative) and laudation and proceed with our scoring and judges determination Please for the sake of web etiquette, respond with either a yes or no. If you decline we will graciously inform those who made nominations of your decision.
To complete our process, we shall proceed with our review and seek our judges unanimous decision should the nominated website receive the required 23 or more points. The scoring form below will be averaged by two or more reviewers, which we encourage you to complete and submit. too. The scoring is based upon our rubrics shown below. We have found over several years by using our Evaluation of Web Site rubrics that the standard deviation is consistently less than one percent, when comparing the nominee score sheets with those of our reviewers.

All applicants who have two or more nominations and have followed our submission policies and procedures shall always receive notification, usually within two weeks and the composite score sheet is available upon written request.
We will gladly furnish our scoring rubric computation and judges notes upon request. Simply respond favorably to this permission and request rubric material.

We are pleased to attach our Talking Hands Award which has been in continuous existence since 1986. The award style for which your web site qualifies is attached. Please display, if you so desire.
Should you at a point in time render your creation "Accessibility" compliant for visitors with disABILITIES beyond the minimal requirements under Section 508 (29 U.S.C. ' 794d) please do let us know. Also we would be pleased to furnish the results of both our scoring rubric and judges comments, if you request in writing.
Your web teaching and learning web site is included in our current award winners at the URL shown below. Starting in 2003 laudation window for each award winner will contain a screen shot, narrative or positive judges comments which will serve to provide visitors with information about our award recipients.
