AS! Leval 5+ awarded June 21, 2006In April of 1999 we joined Award Sites in an effort to promote accessibility and  our Talking Hands Award. What we found was a caring community of award givers who have extended a helping hand  by "Bettering the Net By Striving for Excellence!" through many activities, including the AS WAI/W3C initiative.

 

Award Sites (AS)-April, 1995Our online activity using personal computers began in 1987.  Among the first organizations we joined was AS, after our award program was formalized with a review criteria and listing of honoree's.

APEX,  (Association for Positive Ethical EXchange). We are a group of Internet users whose goal is to maintain a standard of ethics in our dealings or associations with all people and organizations which use the Internet to sell, buy or exchange products and information.

Apex DOM-Director of Membership 2310-2410Served as Director of Memberships for the period 2310 to 2705.  Established and maintained a membership committee which determines if applicants are qualified for membership in APEX and reported new members to the Director of Operations. Also established a compliance committee which made regular audits of the membership for proper display of the APEX Membership badge and adherence with the APEX charter.

Apex DoO-Director of Operations 2410-2710

Serving as Director of Operations for the period 2410 through 2710.  Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, carries out directives and orders of the CEO among which is to maintain a permanent membership list for APEX membership and shall be assisted in these activities by other Directors.
