The Chosen
Prologue
Born out of the creation of the spheres, bearing toward earthly habitat, eternal spirits came to our planet in search of true harmony. Their search for symmetry brought them to an earth which was a vast emptiness, devoid of life giving substance and in a state of upheaval. Eons passed before the earth began to take shape which was ordered by The Keeper. The order of creation is recorded in The Book of Books . Thus being revealed, non believers must not proceed beyond this prologue, least they become confused and their minds and hearts hardened.
Events
An event during the creation which was not understood by man was revealed in our nineteenth century. This event which separated the spirits was called the shifting of plates, which was a separation of the vast land mass into what are now called continents.
Another event was the unequal distribution of the spirits over the face of the earth, which was not evident until our eighteenth century. Spirits on the continent of Europe built for themselves Faerieland . These spirits became to be known as Faeries and were first sighted by man on the island of Ere or known today as Ireland. The spirits in Asia took other forms and were known by many names. The North American and African continents contained but a few of the ancient spirits - for their fright was great and they rarely revealed themselves.
A third event was why the Faerie Mother was summoned to our earth by The Keeper. In his infinite wisdom, The Keeper knew that man would loose his child like virtue and as age progressed, his heart would become hardened. A hardening of mans heart would cause man to close his mind to eternal truths, which were so simple that only a child could accept without equivocation. These truths are happiness, gentleness, hunger, thirst, mercy, purity, peace, and long suffering. Thus the Faerie Mother would protect the children of man from loosing their child like qualities through travels into the lands of fantasy and make believe. Further she would restore to man his child like qualities - if only he would knock, so that he may enter.
A fourth event was the creation of six magical Links which were forged by Brock out of a verse copy from the book of Kell, a remnant of cloth from Thors robe, gold from a chest of Poseidon, a page copy from The Book of Books, a ring of the Faerie Mother, and a map of Faerieland. Once united, these six links were to be presented by Brock to the Faerie Mother as a bracelet. In order to keep his gift a secret, Brock chose six Faeries. Each would be given a link and be asked to hide the link until summoned to his forge where the links were to be joined in the creation of the bracelet. Upon completion of the last link, Brock fell into a fast sleep, because his toil was great. Awakening several hundred years later, he found that the shifting of plates had scattered the links across the face of the earth. The Keeper, hearing of Brocks plight, informed him that when all six links were found and the bracelet made complete, he would be known as The Lord of The Links. Thus it has been written.
The Chosen
Beware! Many will seek to cloud your minds by calling themselves true believers. Many will title their web pages with the hallowed word of the Faerie Mother - Faerie site! Others will use the word Fantasy in order to confuse you! Still others will adopt symbols of the true believer in order to confound you! Least Ye be mislead, we have been instructed to present true symbols of the Faerie Mother, some of which are shown below. Seek Ye first their true symbols, which are known as awards. By these signs and their Links, the chosen will lead you to others whom they have chosen.
