Big Fish Tales

Midi: Medley.

My wife reads novels more frequently than myself, but having a grandchild in our home gives me an opportunity to sit and listen as my wife reads to Annemarie.

When I recall something in my past, my wife will almost always say the way I told the story is not "entirely true."  My children will add with a smile, but dad's story is much more interesting.

I finally found someone like myself who stretches the truth just a little when I watched Big Fish, directed by Tim Burton (2003). A story about a son trying to learn more about his dying father by reliving stories and myths his father told him about himself.

The name of the movie should have been Big Fish Stories, because it is about the fantastic and unbelievable stories of the life of Edward Bloom who is played by Albert Finney. My little books volume three is my Big Fish Stories, written for my grand children, children and some "closed mouth" adults too.
