Start Self Running Slide Show

Before you start the self running slide show, why not open up your browser to full window?  Simple as an F11 from your key board or going to the view and selecting full screen and reverting back to your normal viewing by clicking that little page representation next to the red x at the very top right, if you are using Mozilla. Yes the little page representation click will do the same thing as an F11. Yes Internet Explorer and Opera work the same say, so to me at least there is no need to hard code a page to open in full window.  Rather let a visitor know that in a full window, you can see all the freckles and twinkles on the photograph.
