Scott Griffin is a master's student in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This site is his master's project.

Scott details ten individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Internet as we know it today. He is not suggesting that there are not more diserving individuals.

In his epilogue, Scott Griffin entreats us with a discussion as to how the Internet may develop and why. Coupled with an indepth historical account of Internet Pioneers, the author places into prespective the fact that since 1969 mother earth has been undergoing a communication revolution. Which by comparison to prior revolutions, is quite remarkable.
