A few months ago I was the recipient of a season of opera, through one of those signups for various prizes, all of us register for upon occasion. Sadly to say, I knew nothing about opera and specifically the opera we were to see. Friends assured me that opera was an "excellent Ferris Bueller's Day Off" so I began to research the operas which would be performed.
One of my first stops after Googling the operas as a search phrase was Opera Glass. Several more search results were bookmarked and I eventually returned Opera Glass. Not only did I find more than adequate information in the libretti and synopses sections, but the performance histories, discographies and role creators sections added to my knowledge of what would truly be "an excellent adventure."
The value derived by myself and probable value to others, leads me to make a nomination for your web site award.
