The National Capital Language Resource Center (NCLRC) is a joint project of Georgetown University, The George Washington University, and the Center for Applied Linguistics. NCLRC is located in Washington, DC, and is one of fifteen nonprofit Language Resource Centers funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
NCLRC is an extremely useful site for building on language and learning. This would be a great resource for those that home school. I have bookmarked this site. Although this may look like a teacher's site for class room, the content is ready available for all of us and we can take a lot with us when visiting. NCLRC holds content that I know I personally will be able to use for myself. That is the essence of the Talking Hands Award and I sincerely believe this site deserves its nomination.
