Living history has been referred to as a history which resonates with the present, while revealing the past. Ohio State University's eHistory presents multimedia histories which blends text as a secondary source in which images, audio, video and graphics literally bring history to life.
Another excellent feature of eHistory is Origins, which is a monthly issue in which an academic expert will look in depth into a current political, cultural or social issue, which is written where an ordinary citizen will be exposed not to opinion, but factual information which engages ones thinking process.
Additional features include book reviews, timelines, eReviews, online books, history link, maps and images and eHistory archives which are enhanced with an excellent search engine.
The major emphasis of OSU and eHistory is academic in nature with an emphasis on research, teaching and outreach and we are certain you will find useful information for any endeavor, so becoming a member, signing up and regular visits will be the result after you have been exposed to the dearth of information.
