Color Theory Tutorial by Worqx-Presented 261031

Janet Lynn Ford presents the Color Theory Tutorial by Worqx based upon her fascination with color theory over several years of formal study.

The tutorial is introduced with a discussion of color communication and application, then to color basics and systems.

In the latter sections we found the color wheel, complementary colors, after images, color combinations, color and contrast, Itten's contrasts, proportion and intensity, contrast and dominance, shades and tints, color studies and palette picker.

Although we may make a decision of color combinations based upon what looks good or right, Janet Lynn Ford's tutorial teaches us that there is nothing mystical about why some color combinations work and others do not.

She also leaves us with a profound understanding of the visible color spectrum, which consists of billions of colors, a monitor and printer limitations and the use of additive and subtractive color.

To apply the information contained in  this excellent tutorial, I have made a hard copy after my reading and then writing of this laudation, because several decades of study by Janet Lynn Ford, can not be mastered in a few hours online.
