I am told that Luuk is an elder statesman of the award community, he is obviously well traveled and our paths have crossed upon several occasions, so it was a delight to write a laudation for Luuk's Travel Site.
While many consult travel agents to plan a trip, there is significant value to also have reliable "real people" offer tips, avoidance of pitfalls and give a place to visit a personal and up-close appreciation for what is enjoyed and not to doubt the veracity of a person deemed trustworthy, which is gleaned from his offices held and associations.
So let us tell you what was found when compared to places I have also visited, which also applies to every country he has visited. Luuk gives an excellent recommendation which includes hotels, travel modes, climate and so forth and delights a prospective visitor with magnificent pictures which he has taken coupled with a narrative and details which rival even the most traveled savvy author, to such degree that we suspect a travel guide may be in the works for world publication.
