The Australian Government Department of the Environment and Heritage website is arranged by topics which include atmosphere, biodiversity, coasts and oceans, heritage, human settlements, inland waters, land management and parks and reserves.
As I began to explore the website, what was most appealing was the text which was displayed when the mouse was placed over a link and a brief detail of what would be found.
Having visited every section of the website I am pleased to say that the information is presented in a readable fashion, the graphics are outstanding, navigation is intuitive, the what's new section shows that information is fresh, inviting and regularly updated and that anyone who visits and no matter what age, will find many things of interest while learning about Australia in the process.
