The Maine Historical Society presents its memory network as a collection of over 10,000 items secured from virtually every corner of the great state of Maine with digital photographs and narrative in order to preserve the collective memory for future generations.
This mosaic of history is colored with history of a local community, written by students in relationships with local historical societies, which add to the rich tapestry of Maine history and results in a feast for the mind and eye of all who visit.
