As a life time resident of Raleigh, North Carolina I was delighted to prepare a laudation for this web site, but initially did not think too much new or different would be found that I did not
already know about my beloved home town.
I am pleased to report that I was wrong, for as this review began with a travel down the street toward our capital building, the era's of horse drawn buggy and the trolley, gave me the distinct first
impression a presentation of the old, the new and transitions in-between would be presented.
The website proved to be more than just a static presentation of history and I was not reluctant in the least to spend several hours not just reviewing, but learning too.
