Not only has The New Criterion sought to write with clarity and wit, but has done so in such a way as to enjoin a growing readership across the heartland who have been brought to the high values of culture in galleries, the media, the concert halls, the theater, and elsewhere, to truly appreciate and expect nothing less than excellence.

I found the online monthlies which are published from September through June to bring some of the most delightful and readable criticism being written today.

All of those who would but venture into this brave new world, will not be disappointed, but be gripped by the clarity of the written word.
