Using lesson plans prepared by others is often more demanding than developing our own. But not in the case of using those found on "Outta Ray's Head English Lesson Plans." Ray Saitz's own lesson
plans and others include a rationale of why they were developed, accompanied by handouts. Without delving into specifics, envision a large English class of uninterested students who are given a
packet of paper and left to their own devices except for one requirement to read the first page. Then one by one the uninterested group become methodically adept at writing prose and poetry, writing
with "good grammar" and with a smile and twinkle in each eye look forward to the next days "packet of paper."
Sounds interesting? Worth your time and effort? Then visit this excellent web site packed full of lesson plans you would gladly give your "eye teeth." for as students are taught the joy of our English language.
