Gathering The Jewels is our third quarter of 2008 honoree to represent the collective teaching and learning of those shown below.

The goal of this web site through the project undertaken was to put the cream of Wales' cultural history, from repositories throughout Wales, on the Internet for people to learn from and enjoy facts and this goal they have surely achieved. Gathering the Jewels represents a truly unique coming together of libraries, museums and archives from all over Wales - national and local - sharing their collections ultimately creating a national resource across the World Wide Web. The website is a great resource for students, pupils, teachers and the general public alike. Displaying a wealth of material in both Welsh and English languages relevant to History and Geography, Art and Design, English and Welsh, and to the development of the Curriculum Cymreig across a range of subjects this site is one not to be missed if one wishes to broaden ones historical horizons.
