As I was nearing completion of a delayed project, a Faerie Celebration Calendar, several patterns emerged throughout the research to produce the calendar.
The first was how ancient customs were being completely replaced by modern customs. Another pattern was that ancient customs were being supplanted based upon modern ideology with no regard to understanding the past in order to frame future actions. So I was left with no doubt that in some small part our Talking Hands Award preserves the past in terms of teaching and learning.
